Summer 2013

The past few months have been wonderful, but crazy busy! I worked at the daycare all summer long, and Colt finished the school year and started on finishing his Master's Degree; he's now only one class away from being done!! We are now in the last full week of band camp and gearing up for a great school year!

Here are some pictures from our first summer together  :)

Colt and I had the opportunity to go with the West-Oak Middle School Band to Myrtle Beach! It was so much fun! The band performed at a music festival and did an amazing job; we're looking forward to having so many talented students move up to the high school in the coming years! 

I've said it before, but I'll say it again: we live in an awesome place for hiking!! This beautiful place is less than 20 minutes from our home. It is called Chau Ram Park, and we definitely will visit here again!

For the 4th of July weekend, we went to The Villages!!

We went to Downtown Disney and caught a boat tour to visit some of the Disney Resorts!

One day we went to Brownwood, the newest village at The Villages! We went to the Barnstorm Theater and saw "Despicable Me 2", it was so good!

We are now in the thick of marching band, and we are so excited to see what this group can do! Go Warriors!!!
